Morning journal

Feeling better and getting stronger. Able to move around a tad more and sit up longer each day. Prayer time, reading, journaling has continued to bring peace to my soul and coloring and word find puzzles has become very enjoyable!!!

Scheduled to see a medical oncologist next week for any treatment recommendations  and plastic surgeon to hopefully remove my last two drains and also begin discussions regarding the reconstruction process which will be yet another journey , but one that God has so prepared me for.

I can’t say enough about Dr Jhay who keeps things in line from taking care of my drains and incisions, to medication schedules and Mom who is just here for all things her baby girl needs! I am also blessed by the outpouring support from family and friends with words of encouragement, calls, visits, text, flowers, gift cards, meals, and so much more.

Blessed is an understatement and I know with God nothing is impossible.  I know this journey is all for his glory and I am so honored to be a testament to share and be a light for others.

One of my favorite songs by Tauren Wells and Elevation Worship is Joy in the Morning. And  the lyrics starts off with: “Everything happens for a reason but you don’t know what you don’t know. And you’ll never have peace if you never let go of tomorrow, cause it ain’t even faith till your plan falls apart, yet you still choose to follow. If it doesn’t make sense right now it will when it’s over and there will be joy in the morning.

Thank you Jesus I have Joy and you have work for me to do.🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️
