Two weeks post-op and recovery is going well. Had visit with my plastic surgeon yesterday and he is pleased with my recovery progress and the healing of my incisions. Unfortunately my last JP drain out of 4 was not ready to be removed yesterday due to continued drainage….but that’s OK…I can deal with 1 vs 4 so I say “Winning”!!!
I’m still quite sore and fatigue easily, but that comes with the territory and magnitude of this surgery. Grace is what God has given to me and so I also must give it to myself…he didn’t say a “divine reinvention” would come easy but I know going trough this process will only help me grow stronger and be a light to so many others in some way for his glory!
