I know it”s been a minute since my last post so here’s what’s going on:

Recovery is going well and lots of great news to share.  Finally after 5 weeks post-op I finally got my last JP drain removed!!! Due to a delay in receiving results,  I have a praise report: My Oncotype DX score was low, 9 out of 100, which means the risk for  cancer recurrence is low therefore, chemotherapy is not required as a course of treatment.  Thank you Jesus!

I will however be on an anti-hormone medication for the next 5-10 years and that’s ok… I can handle that!

A few little hiccups along the way, as a result of the the final JP drain being in for an extended period of time: It limited my ability to perform  exercises post op which has caused some limited range of motion of my right arm. As a result I will be starting physical therapy this week. I also developed a seroma in the right breast 7 days  post  JP drain removal which required drainage. All good now.

I am back on track, starting to finally feel back to my normal self, and just taking things one day at a time.

Thanks to everyone for all your calls, text messages, gifts, and most importantly prayers!

I am feeling so blessed and grateful… But God!
